great color, too long to warm up : HDE (TM) 5mW Bright Green Laser Pointer Keychain
I wanted a green laser pointer small enough to keep on a keychain, and this is the only one I found on Amazon.
COLOR
The color of the laser pointer is a bright green, and will show up on just about everything. The beam is bright enough to significantly brighten a (small) dark bedroom if you shine it on the ceiling.
LAG/WARM-UP TIME
The reason I gave this 2 stars is that the laser requires a significant amount of time to "warm up." Significant is 10-20 seconds, which seems longer when you're ready to use it "now." That being said, it stays relatively warmed up once you begin using it, but for a teacher who occasionally uses it to to point out stuff on the board, it's not worth it (just get a red one).
However, if you're going to use it in a presentation and almost constantly use it, that would be better for it.
